Calling all beer lovers – it’s almost the best time of the year again! With Oktoberfest just around the corner, you bet there’ll be lots of beer and non-stop fun at these festivals. If you’re having trouble narrowing down which one you should attend, here are the top seven Oktoberfests from all over the world.

1. Nashville Oktoberfest

Nashville sure knows how to throw a party! Their Oktoberfest will feature tastings of over a dozen international beers, bringing your taste buds on a journey all over the world. Mark your calendars for October 6-9, 2022, so you don’t miss out on this spectacular festival. Plus, admission is free!

2. New York City Oktoberfest

NYC does Oktoberfest like no other city! Their festival runs from September 2 to October 3.  True to the city that never sleeps, you can look forward to long hours, jam-packed with excitement and fun. On each day, the festival opens at noon and goes until midnight. Get ready for tons of beer, music, contests, and games such as beer pong, cornhole, and stein-holding competitions.

3. Munich Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest originated in Germany, so you can bet that Munich’s festival will be everything you could wish for and more. This year, the festival will begin on September 17 and end on October 3. There will be several tents for classic festival fare and of course, beer tents! But, the fun doesn’t stop there – there will also be a variety of carnival rides.

4. Marco Polo German Bierfest, Hong Kong

Head to Hong Kong for an exciting festival with a view. The Marco Polo German Bierfest is set in an open-air beer tent with breathtaking views of the Hong Kong skyline. Their Oktoberfest will feature drinking contests, music, and so much more. It runs from October 17-27.

5. Das Oktoberfest Garten, Mexico City

Mexico City is always a lovely and thrilling place to be. For Oktoberfest, they’re kicking things up even more. The celebration is in traditional German fashion, so you can expect to find classic German food and beer available. Plus, there will be a market with handcrafted items and amusement rides! The festival will be from October 17-31.

6. Denver Oktoberfest

The Denver Oktoberfest consists of stein hoisting, brat-eating contests, keg bowling, and the annual Long Dog Derby, where dachshunds race against each other. There is also a costume contest and over 30 bands spanning all kinds of genres. Attend the Denver Oktoberfest from September 23-25.

7. Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest

Kitchener-Waterloo holds the biggest Oktoberfest outside of Munich. This year, it will be held from September 23 to October 15. The festival has different Festhallen venues each offering unique experiences. There are also dozens of family and cultural events. It’s an event you won’t want to miss!
