Resorts Worlds Las Vegas, the first new hotel-casino to open on the Las Vegas Strip in over a decade, is pulling out all the stops for its grand opening.

This new fixture of The Strip is slated to open its doors on June 24. It will then celebrate its grand opening with concerts from four major names in music: Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan and Katy Perry. The four stars, who will perform 30 concerts combined, will perform at the The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas, the new venue’s 5,000-seat auditorium.

“Resorts World Las Vegas is redefining the Las Vegas hospitality experience through our world-class entertainment, food and beverage and service,” Scott Sibella, President of Resorts World Las Vegas, said in a statement (via TravelPulse.com). “We are incredibly proud to welcome this incredible roster of superstar entertainment partners to their new home at The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas and look forward to the exciting performances to come.”

Dion, a staple of the Las Vegas entertainment scene, will take the stage first with an Opening Night Benefit for COVID-19 Relief on Nov. 5, 2021. She will then continue with nine additional shows slated for Nov. 6, 9-10, 12-13, 16-17 and 19-20.

Underwood will be up next, with shows on Dec. 1, 3-4, 8, 10-11, 2021.

Perry will follow her with an eight-show run, with dates on Dec. 29 and 31, 2021, and Jan. 1, 7-8, 12, and 14-15, 2022.

Bryan will wrap things up, with concerts slated for Feb. 11-12, 16, 18-19, and 20 of 2022.

“We’re so happy that Celine has decided to return to Las Vegas in this beautiful new theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas,” said John Meglen, President and Co-CEO of Concerts West, the company that will program and operate all 30 shows. “And even more that she will be joined in the rotation by some of the greatest performing talent today: Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan and Katy Perry. This is a legendary lineup.”

Dion, Underwood, Perry and Bryan will join DJs Zedd and Tiësto, who were previously announced as Las Vegas Resort World’s nightlife headliners.

Las Vegas is rapidly returning to pre-pandemic normalcy, with masks no longer required at most major casinos, and capacity limits being lifted.
