Mario Lopez recently opened a new Mexican restaurant in Miami — but don’t bother trying to get a table.

The actor and television host’s new restaurant, Mario’s Tortas Lopez, can only be enjoyed by delivery.

This delivery-only restaurant is part of Virtual Dining Concepts‘ roster of virtual restaurants. Its primary objective—in addition to serving up great Mexican food—is supporting the Miami culinary community by offering independent restaurateurs the chance to use their existing staff and resources to serve new customers and boost sales.

“I’ve known Mario for many years now, and I’ve been waiting for the right opportunity for us to partner together,” Virtual Dining Concepts founder Robert Earl told Local10. “We have created a one-of-a-kind, on-demand cuisines with quality ingredients that have Mario’s special touch, and I am so excited for everyone to taste Mario’s Tortas Lopez.”

“I knew Robert Earl would be able to make my vision come to life – there’s no one else I’d trust in the restaurant business who could make this happen,” Lopez echoed. “It is especially important to me that this menu is available for small, independent restaurants to carry as a way to help them regain their financial footing.”

The Mario’s Tortas Lopez menu is the brainchild of Lopez and Chef Eric Greenspan, and features a roster of delicious Mexican sandwiches — or tortas — and mouth-watering sides like nachos, chile rellenos, elote, chips and guac, and churro donuts.

Lopez, a lifelong foodie, is excited to share the restaurant’s creations with people in Miami — whether they’re locals or visitors.

“My entire family is very into cooking, and our best moments together are always around a table filled with food,” Lopez said. “Now I have the chance to share what I love and enjoy with families everywhere.”
