Summer simply isn’t complete without a trip to a beautiful vineyard. There’s nothing like wandering through the greenery with a glass of vino in hand. So, gather your friends and head to one (or more) of these six wineries near Toronto.

Trius Winery

If you’re looking for an Instagrammable winery, this is it. Trius has an immersive tour that includes plenty of photo ops. You and your friends can pose in the Rose Lookout, which features a beautiful floral wall. You can also take photos on a swing and in their Bubble Tub. The tour takes visitors through the vineyards and teaches them about the winemaking process.

Trius Winery is located in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Peller Estates

Peller Estates is another winery located on Niagara-on-the-Lake that’s worth visiting. The vineyards are beautiful, but what stands out the most about this winery is its 10Below Icewine Lounge. The lounge is literally made of ice and kept at -10 degrees Celsius. Take the Greatest Winery Tour and you’ll be taken through the vineyards, barrel cellar, and Icewine Lounge.

Adamo Estates

Who knew that Orangeville has a winery? Adamo Estates is a hidden gem outside of Toronto, where you can experience wine tastings, eat charcuterie and stroll through vineyards. Head to their website to book a tasting and tour (only available on the weekends).

Waupoos Winery

Prince Edward County is known for its wineries. One of its most popular and beautiful wineries is Waupoos Winery. The winery sits on a hilltop overlooking Lake Ontario, so you can expect some stunning views. There are also 20 acres of vineyards for you to stroll through while sipping some of their tasty wine.

Reif Winery

At Reif Winery, you can have your own semi-private pod where you can sip on a flight of wines. There’s also a Sensory Garden where you can wander through and take in all the lovely scents and sights.

Reif Winery is located at Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Bonnieheath Estate

Located in Norfolk County, Bonnieheath Estate contains both a winery and lavender field. Stroll through their gorgeous 129-acre property and sip on some lavender ice wine. It’ll make for a day you won’t soon forget.
