You’ll never run out of interesting things to do in a city like Los Angeles. On the off chance you and your group need a little inspiration as you plan your visit, however, we’ve got you covered.

Here are a few can’t-miss activities for groups visiting LA:

It may come as a surprise given LA’s status as one of the country’s most heavily developed areas, but the city is criss-crossed with gorgeous hiking trails that you and your group will love. You’ll find some of the most popular trails inside Griffith Park, Runyon Canyon Park, Elysian Park and Trebek Open Space. The trails vary significantly in difficulty, so be sure to read up on your chosen route before you set out!

Karaoke is a fun group activity in any city—and Los Angeles is no exception to that rule. LA is home to a number of awesome karaoke bars, such as Cafe Brass Monkey, Pharao Karaoke Lounge, Max Karaoke Studio, Recital Karaoke, and Feel Karaoke. Just be sure to book a private room in advance.

Indoor Rock Climbing

If you’re hoping to burn a few calories while you have fun—perhaps after a night out at one of LA’s many amazing restaurants—indoor rock climbing might be your best bet. The city is home to a number of rock gyms such as Rockreation Los Angeles Sport Climbing Center in Culver City and LA Boulders, which you’ll find downtown.

Wine Tasting

California is known for its wine, and that wine is readily available in LA. Some of the local favorites for wine tastings include Malibu Wines, V Wine Room, Silverlake Wine, and San Antonio Winery. There’s no shortage of options—just be sure to arrange safe transportation home!

Indoor Roller Skating

LA’s Moonlight Rollerway is a favorite among locals—and an experience visitors are unlikely to forget. This storied establishment, which will teleport you right back to the 80s, hosts a number of inspired theme nights—including a yearly Harry Potter party.

Trampoline Dodgeball

Trampoline Dodgeball is exactly what it sounds like: a bouncy version of everyone’s favorite—or least favorite—game from gym class. You can find this awesome spin on the classic game at Sky High Sports and Sky Zone—just remember the 5 Ds of dodgeball: Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge!
